Key Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Frontend Software Engineer at Qualys Hiring, you’ll be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designer, front-end, and middle-tier engineers to design, prototype, and build complex cloud-based security applications.
- Assist fellow developers in integrating UI components with backend logic, implementing interfaces, and troubleshooting issues.
- Prioritize supporting existing UI while seizing opportunities to innovate and enhance functionality.

Skills Required:
- Possess 2-4 years of front-end development experience.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an excellent understanding of the browser Document Object Model (DOM).
- Expertise in JavaScript, including lexical scoping, closures, and object-oriented JavaScript.
- Skilled in native JavaScript and at least one framework such as ReactJS, ensuring the ability to bring designs from Photoshop to life with near pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Proficient in debugging and testing tools to troubleshoot and optimize the UI.
- Knowledgeable about accessibility and 508 compliance standards.
- Experienced in building responsive user interfaces.
- Understanding of front-end security best practices, including XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) and CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery).
