Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to play a pivotal role in the development of our design system within our fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working on large-scale design systems and collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams comprising product management, designers, and engineers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Frontend Developer at Jio Hiring, you’ll be tasked with the following responsibilities:

Contribute significantly to the development of our Design System, supporting designers and engineers throughout the organization.
Translate ideas, user experiences, and interfaces into our design system.
Work closely with team designers, aiding them in identifying optimal solutions for each component.
Educate us on areas where we lack knowledge and propose enhancements to our Design System to better meet the needs of designers and engineers.
Lead initiatives within the team from inception to completion, serving as a technical mentor and fostering team development.

Skills Required:

Possess over 5 years of hands-on experience as a frontend engineer within a dynamic organizational setting.
Demonstrated track record of contributing to large-scale design systems over multiple years.
Skilled in collaborating within cross-functional teams comprising product management, designers, and engineers.
Proficient in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with expertise in modern frontend frameworks.
Previous engagement with technologies like lit or stencil for the development of web components.
Extensive experience in testing and documenting design systems for a technical audience.
Rapid learning capabilities, adept at iteration, problem-solving, and persistence until solutions are achieved.
Familiarity and adherence to agile workflows and lean principles in daily work routines.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including work with third-party system APIs and web services, especially GraphQL.
Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English, with the ability to confidently present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have:

Proficient in Lit, showcasing extensive hands-on experience.
Experienced in collaborating within open-source communities or contributing to standards development.
Skilled in Backend-Development using programming languages such as Python or GO.
Capable of recognizing common UX patterns and proactively addressing UX design risks during the early stages of development.
Demonstrates expertise in front-end system design, integrating with backend APIs, and prioritizing performance and security considerations.
