Key Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Associate Software Engineer at Global Payments Hiring Off Campus, you’ll be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Independently develop code for TSYS Software or collaborate with Team Leader.
- Utilize various tools for efficient coding and ensure quality assurance throughout development.
- Timely delivery of high-quality software to clients.
- Undertake a variety of QA tasks to ensure software releases are bug-free.
- Performance measured by successful and timely software releases.
- Address client-reported problems and bugs promptly.
- Work under time pressure and participate in a 24-hour rotation system.
- Performance evaluated based on the ability to solve client issues promptly.
- Complete all assigned duties as per Supervisor’s instructions.

Skills Required:
- Proficiency in development skills, particularly in Proc*C or ANSI C.
- Strong database development skills, with expertise in Oracle 10g and 11g PL/SQL.
- Extensive experience in development using Proc*C or ANSI C.
- Proficient in administrative tasks on the Linux platform.
- Hands-on development experience in large enterprise-based systems.
- Project involvement in installing, configuring, testing, and training clients.
Qualification
- Possess a degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, MIS, BCA, MCA, or B Tech.
- 0-1 years of professional experience in the IT industry, preferably in Oracle PL/SQL or C/Pro*C/Java.
- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL or C/Pro*C/Java is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
