Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Engineer Software at Empower India Hiring , you’ll be tasked with the following responsibilities:

Design, implement, deploy, and support new web-based applications and web services utilizing server technology stacks comprising Java, MySQL, and AWS services.
Define and implement REST Web Services specifically tailored for exposing personal financial services, encompassing financial account management, payments, investment portfolio management, and credit product functionalities.
Execute end-to-end software development and deployment within an agile environment that places significant emphasis on Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Define and develop cloud-native distributed systems and container orchestration platforms utilizing microservice and serverless architectures for optimal scalability and efficiency.
Assist in conducting peer code evaluations to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and continuous improvement across the development team.

Skills Required:

Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong desire for professional growth within a small, focused development team operating in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in standard server-side software technologies such as Java, MySQL, Spring, Hibernate, among others.
Hands-on experience in REST and API design.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) methodologies, including the use of design patterns.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
Additional experience with AWS Cloud Computing infrastructure and APIs is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of Git, Java, Maven, and/or Hudson/Jenkins is considered a plus.
